RAV4 Dashboard Guide
Your Toyota RAV4's dashboard provides important information and controls for operating your vehicle safely and efficiently. This guide explains the various indicators, gauges, and controls on your dashboard.
Instrument Cluster
The instrument cluster displays essential information about your vehicle's status and performance. Your RAV4 may have either an analog or digital instrument cluster, depending on the trim level.
Main Components
- Speedometer: Displays the current vehicle speed in mph and km/h
- Tachometer: Shows engine speed in revolutions per minute (RPM)

How to Operate
- Use the ◀ and ▶ buttons to switch between main menu items
- Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to scroll through content within a menu item
- Press the ENTER button to select or confirm
- Press the RETURN button to go back to the previous screen
Warning and Indicator Lights
Warning and indicator lights inform you of the status of your vehicle's systems. When these lights come on or flash, they indicate normal operation, a malfunction, or a situation that needs attention.
Red Warning Lights
These indicate critical issues that require immediate attention.
- Brake System Warning: Low brake fluid or brake system malfunction
- Charging System Warning: Issue with the battery charging system
- Low Engine Oil Pressure: Insufficient engine oil pressure
- High Engine Coolant Temperature: Engine is overheating
- Airbag System Warning: Malfunction in the SRS airbag system
Yellow/Amber Warning Lights
These indicate issues that should be checked soon.
- Check Engine Light: Engine or emission control system issue
- ABS Warning: Anti-lock Brake System malfunction
- Tire Pressure Warning: Low tire pressure in one or more tires
- VSC OFF: Vehicle Stability Control system is turned off

Green/Blue Indicator Lights

Center Console Controls
